A few weekends ago Joanna (and her boyfriend Sam) went to Berlin for a  fleeting visit to see the city (for the first time) and stay with friends. It was a lovely, rather cold, weekend of constant eating and drinking at different spots around the city.

We have been meaning to blog more about where we travel to and what we enjoy doing on with our time off (mainly eating and drinking). But because Sarah is being a very busy little bee in her final term at university this has been a little difficult aka. impossible for us to do as we very rarely spend time together at the moment. Joanna has a couple more trips lined up to waffle onto you about until we are can travel and write about where we go together.

But anyway, back to Berlin. It was so much prettier to look at than I had anticipated; before I went everyone warned me it wasn't very 'nice' but I just thought the whole city seemed like a very big graffitied East London. So the weekend was spent exploring different places to eat and drink, but we did manage to squeeze in a couple of slightly more cultural experiences in-between all the schnitzel and gin.
